Mixed Words Go Unspoken

I grow hungry, I grow tired, I’m so tired and weak,

Though the highway is long I will drive and seek,

I feel your love, I hear your call, deep inside of me,

My eyes adore you, when I dream you’re all I see,

When I see a love movie or dream dreams of love,

It’s you my heart desires, It’s you I’m thinking of,

To dream a dream of you ignite heart passions so,

“The End” may be the end unless it starts a show,

Rumbling sound penetrates my ears to be a howl,

Highway beat is beaten down to become a growl,

I grow stronger as the beat of your heart is heard,

The road silences all to be unheard as a soft word,

Words fall from my mouth to strike the pavement,

Each fallen word ignites the letters in arrangement,

Riddle me this my mind asked of my tongue tonight,

Love me forever my sweet I’d much rather than fight,

She inquired with a question mark on end. Ready?

Let us do so my angel I’ll love you forever, go steady?

This path taken? Or shan’t we walk blindly in arm?

So many unanswered queries are not of your charm,

Evening shadows of weeping willows bring a sigh,

Remembering wartime goodbye brings me to cry,

Only you, just you alone could do, all we had to do.

And that’s why, forever plus a day, I love only you.
