Relief of Life

As a butterfly softly lets down upon a rose,

A tender touch releases hormones to flow,

Her loving caresses bring so much to mind,

Her beauty radiates to be seen by the blind,

Beautiful verses align to create her song,

He knows this place is where he belongs,

Choirs of angels sing harmoniously tight,

As he studies her frame she is his delight,

Cricket’s chirps fill the night air with sound,

Walking hand in hand to find vacant ground,

Twinkling starlight penetrate absence of light,

Moonlight accompaniment is a beautiful sight,

Boulders within the mountainside almost glow,

Forming a soft outline as if a part of the show,

Color fades into light’s absence to go unseen,

Yet it’s the next most beautiful thing he’s seen,

She’s the only one that puts a skip into his heart,

Of his being he is sure she’s the very best part,

Her beauty has carried him through war’s pain,

When absent memories of life, hers did remain,

She is the light that brightens his every day,

A lifetime of joy came when she saw him play,

Night’s cuddles bring relief and love to his life,

Each love word is written of my gorgeous wife.
