Prior to our marriage when I would come home you always knew,

Our first kiss of love said “I love you” but it did put me into a trance,

No word was spoken as our lips didn’t part for ten minutes or more,

Yet I knew you loved me as I had said I love you many times before,

That’s the way it must be to prevent not knowing if you are the one,

Secrets destroy vows and create lost love as lie’s are created in woe,

Faith in your lover’s word is critical for love within the heart to grow,

She must believe she’s the one as he too must believe what’s said,

I remember knowing you loved me as war’s fear danced in my head,

The magic of love flowed in my veins as your image became a vision,

At times I could feel your touch while poses of love I would envision,

Many things of love must be combined to enjoy every moment given,

Lovers must realize no person is perfect so wrongs must be forgiven,

But Patti my little angel when you had guilt it was for what I wanted,

Love grows with age and each year it grows, it’s to never be daunted,

I love you beyond infinity yet love leaps from my heart each day,

With you at my side the difficult times seem to become child’s play,

I have tingle sensations inside my heart the same as a teenage boy,
