You’ve Given To Me

I left the dream state of you after the place crowded over,

Such a disappointment after laying with you in Irish clover,

A dream state is but a dream in a state of differing whats,

Isn’t that an odd thing to worry about if dazing within knots,

I was set on fire in a deep dream of loving with you in a car,

Passion’s ups and passions never downs took me far too far,

In a back seat with you I skyrocketed into your arms again,

In a morning of waking I sought you to find you saying begin,

I’m coming up to greet you as you slide way down to me,

No matter how I pretend to be the good me I cannot be he,

Every breath is deep as I watch you envelope my being,

The mirror moves in my hand as I find a new way of seeing,

Excitement fills my loins with muscled movements of thrust,

Though I know your every method I fear in a moment I’ll bust,

Liquid escape is sought through a rhythmic motion of fact,

A deep passionate kiss ignites what’s in store of a last act,

My member my member is a member of males unanimous,

It’s taken me to an age I’m nearing too fast and too serious,

And only you can bring me home into the arms of only you,

Thank you my loving angel for all the love you’ve given to.

You Are My Morning Light

Many nights I think of you and everything we’ve done,

Together we have always found a way to have fun,

I remember the first time I held a tender hand in mine,

Your kiss that followed was of heaven, simply Divine,

In an instant you became my guiding star in all I did,

With but a kiss I was a better man from a kiss forbid,

As I left my mind was mixing thoughts with memory,

Two years of wanting you in every way that could be,

Filled me with anxiety as I began to fear that I may fail,

I knew you felt as I did yet fear of failure felt like a spell,

You became my morning light every morning since a kiss,

Being in your presence fills my heart and soul with bliss,

No fluke transpired, you’ve given me a miracle each day,

Few have known or will ever know love to come their way,

I’ve gushed most every day in a personal celebration,

Telling those that listen of my heart’s joyful sensation,

I pray I do, that I somehow give you sensations of heart,

You’ve influenced my life with betterment from the start.

Grateful Tears

I am a man grateful to her for love she always shows,

Her kindnesses to me fill me with joy as my love grows,

That I have been so fortunate for over fifty five years,

She wants me forever happy to never shed sad tears,

She does so many little things to add moments of joy,

From an apple to eat to a shiny rock or just a small toy,

They seem insignificant to most but I see it as treasure,

Through my life through every day she brings pleasure,

Within my heart and soul I’m excited as she draws near,

As she approaches tingling excitement is felt so clear,

This truth of my hearts response is treasured deep within,

None has brought excitement or has had chance to begin,

Why, I’ve wondered so often, why do so much for me,

Love is truly difficult to understand and how it can be,

Our marriage seems a decade, yet it’s plus half a century,

Quickly time has passed and her love remains a mystery,

Grateful tears have fallen along with tears of regret,

Such an adorable woman with so much beauty and yet,

She has chosen a man so insignificant in the worlds eye,

Much more she deserves that with remaining years I’ll try,

To dedicate more time to write of her heart’s revelations,

Her kindnesses shown to God’s animals and creations,

She finds happiness in wild flowers and such small things,

Her joy lifts my heart as if I could fly with love given wings,

I give thanks to have her in my life, said correctly as my life,

As teardrops flow I kneel to give thanks to God, for my wife.

The end, by Pat for Patti. I love you baby!

Text Poem: Within You

Morning delight fills my soul as I watch you all aglow,

As you depart my surround I hope that you move slow,

I watch the remainder of your behind depart my space,

The swing of your remainder puts a smile upon my face,

Air moving through your hair creates a wave unseen,

For only a man in love will see the insignificant scene,

You have a radiance that must be taken from our sun,

For you have an angelic glow that is forever undone,

A dimple you carry deep within your gorgeous behind,

Is cute enough to many times have cluttered my mind,

I am often found deep in thought when asked it’s of you,

The many beautiful traits of you I’m thinking through,

Within you there is more beauty to be found if sought,

Kindness in your soul is a sweet part of my thought,

So many years have sped by that I guess you can fly,

“I love you” is to be heard ‘if’ I can catch you flying by.

The end.

Alzheimer Pathway

Mama can you hear me, I have words of love to say,

My heart is so heavy with the words I need to convey,

When your mind has gone it’s impossible for me to see,

But the smile upon your face makes me hope it’s for me,

When Daddy passed away I was holding your hand,

Then I saw a teardrop fall upon your gold wedding band,

But now you’ve forgotten me and remember all the rest,

It’s okay Mama since I knew you longer, that’s the best,

The black curly hair I wore long and I wore for so long,

Was cut short when I was drafted saying it didn’t belong,

You didn’t give up when told tales of a war zone roam,

Honorable discharge at this time meant little back home,

If there’s a chance you can hear me I’m thanking you now,

You knew I wouldn’t quit and that I was still alive somehow,

A mother’s love for her son was shown to all wanting to see,

Thank you Mama for all the calls it took to finally get me free,

I don’t remember coming home as I was still in a bad way,

In truth an angel from heaven brought me home that day,

If only I could walk a path of Ireland in your head with you,

We would walk and laugh when I took you to your home too,

Perhaps a golden memory of love is where you now dwell,

The joy of holding hands with an Irish lad you knew too well,

May angels guide your heart and mind along paths of joy,

Take another path if happiness is there for you to enjoy,

At last you’ll cross that golden bridge thru a golden gate,

No doubt that young handsome dad of mine won’t hesitate,

To hold you in his arms as our Savior quenches your thirst,

And you’ll hear “thank you” from the one you forgot first.

A Synonym of Love’s Creation

In a synonym of love’s creation I existed in a love strange,

Telescope and kaleidoscope show how I need to change,

Kaleidoscope skies seek every particle to put on a display,

Telescope vision bring a past I don’t want in present day,

The cold, cold ground is no place to rest in lovers exile,

To be dead is not needed at this time of your lovely smile,

Time has come to be driven with love’s fulfilling passion,

It’s time to state “come here my angel you are the one.”

Pull me into your comforting arms and let me rest awhile,

You are the indulgence that I tell all is truly worthwhile,

Scattered amongst the worthy are good men last in exile,

Not born to follow yet I’ve attempted the act once in a while,

Not lame enough to follow yes’s or no’s whispered to hear,

Whispered so loud the yelling participants fell to the rear,

Unlearned and not heard the bewilderment began to be,

Perpernina had a method that if not heard is better to see.

As much as I tried to follow the strangeness of their words,

Never before has this strangeness drawn me to the herds,

I’ve begged you to pull me into your comforting arms to rest,

I love you, my indulgence is you, you are always the best!
