Little Girl of Evening Star

At times I sit alone thinking of love and how easily I fell,

My heart felt as though I had been put under a love spell,

I thought of you every moment of the day and before I slept,

Each night I prayed for you and truthfully said I also wept,

The extreme loneliness I felt when drafted and forced to war,

Was truly a test of my manhood and the girl I loved before,

It must be said she changed me to be a much better man,

Prior to the first kiss I had already vowed to be the best I can,

At night when I held my weapon tight I remembered her appeal,

The tenderness of her flesh next to me and soft was her feel,

Every kiss became a kiss of passion as fire grew deep inside,

Never did a doubt exist for in my heart love truly did reside,

I love you Patti, I love you so, my heart has had to expand,

Little girl of evening star I exist if only to caress your hand,

Pain endured in the enemy’s hands was worth it to see you,

Unconscious is unfavorable sleep yet you’d be there so true,

To see you was worth the price if only to be where you dwell,

My unconscious state left little thought perhaps easier I fell?

The fall was controlled I’d say and was wonderful all the way,

And I’ve loved you for eternities March, each and every day,

Hand in hand I’ve marched through time with no doubt in tow,

Love filled my heart to maximum fill and I felt my love grow,

And now as time flows swiftly by I fall in love again each day,

I see you in my mind and fall in love again in every little way,

The beauty of your smile especially when engaged with me,

Allows me to feel as though I’m special, even if temporarily,

Look at me I think to everyone, I’m with this gorgeous girl,

I must be a handsome man, my hair has a Superman curl,

I’ve climbed into the air as my feet no longer touch floor,

Truthfully said my love for you actually makes me soar,

I’ve flown through time and space with one intention to do,

To lightly touch down next to you and whisper, I so love you!

The end, for Patti by Pat

I love you little girl!

To be Touched by You

The silent sound of loving you fills the air with waves,

A sound from my anatomy, it’s how my mind behaves,

My mind saw images of you when love was born to be,

Every love type known to man swelled up inside of me,

I fill with thoughts of romance as my ways are shown,

I found passion as passion danced a dance unknown,

With so much building up in me I felt I’d soon explode,

Into the room you came and your calming way showed,

From near catastrophe to mellow man I was on display,

Know that loving you is easy for this man to openly say,

The feelings to be in love with you fill my head and heart,

Fear fills me with anxiety as I fear when you will depart,

But no one hears my anxiety as it flows through my veins,

Fear not my love to cease for if blood flows my love remains,

Love beating in my heart although silent in my ears it is loud,

Sometimes when I am touched by you I actually feel wowed,

I enter into a solitude world when you come near to me,

Each time I place my eyes upon you, you’re all I want to see,

You’re so beautiful at first sight it causes my breathe to leave,

If you smile at me there’s so much for my heart to perceive,

In the silence of the night as star light makes no sound,

I swear I feel love waves syncing our hearts to be bound,

Love has an influence I hope I feel forever after we dance,

More so perhaps, you have fallen in love too, if by chance,

The confusion of being in your arms takes away my thought,

Maybe confusion should be unsaid instead of a word I forgot,

If unknown is the word I lost perhaps it wasn’t worth much,

Being loved by you is of the best love I’ll ever know of such,

The silence of the night envelopes us to be in night’s embrace,

Waves of love pierce our form to bring out a kiss for your face,

The beauty of the night has but one companion if it’s said true,

You introduced me to loving in the night, I’m so in love with you.

The end. For Patti by Pat. I love you baby

From Her Fingertips (Oct. 10, 1969)

As I prayed to be reunited with you to say I care,

The stars lit up the night to make me fully aware,

The cold cold wind seemed to warm just a touch,

It’s the warmth of love for the one I love so much,

Her eyes of hazel green are circled in heaven’s blue,

Lips of sweet red weaken me so every word is true,

A month ago I held her picture near to me and prayed,

I’ve aged ten years and my black hair has grayed,

If how I feel is how I’m gonna be forever more I’m sad,

Lately every day is worse than the worse day I’ve had,

After all I’ve been through somehow my love is still within,

A sweet kiss goodbye pushed true love’s merge to begin,

I am what’s left from wars annihilation of my youth,

I actually survived beyond man’s end to tell the truth,

A photograph now tattered and worn knows too much,

The pain my heart has endured longing for her touch,

Just a soft touch from her fingertips is to say I love you,

For I and I alone can read her every motion and sway too,

She came to me as I slept at life’s end ready to pass on,

For she reads me too as no other could or I’d be gone,

To stand in the summer sunshine with her will elevate me,

Into what’s known as the beyond for its more than we see,

She and I know it’s that place where true love can dwell,

Not all can answer the call as true love, but it is how I fell,

Long ago I gave my heart to her as I had no need to roam,

She I will seek out for unknown she has delivered me home,

These hospital grounds do hold pain and keep death at bay,

But this treasure of tattered photo and I will go home today.

When Flummox Fell (Love’s Bewilderment)

My heart beats heavy at times but not an affliction is the cause,

It’s a confused state of mind that injects flummox bringing pause,

The word flummox fell from my mind to show my bewildered state,

Only you can befuddle me so that I used pause instead of hesitate,

If truth is told I used both perhaps misunderstood is where I stood,

Only you can conflict my mind or is infliction to be misunderstood?

Perhaps I’ll drift from this place in search of the solace I once knew,

How can I be in this place as I’ve had a lifetime of comfort from you?

But years have come and quickly passed as they mounted high,

When we married the excitement of a little boy made this man fly,

Excitement that a boy like me was married to the goddess I saw,

From toe tip to nose tip and more I adored the girl without a flaw,

A Greek Goddess it was said had passed her beauty to human you,

Fill you with the sweetness of a candy store but spice your lips too,

So sweet but filled with tart words of fun with a mean streak in full,

Words so strong that once is enough yet you inflict with a bucketful,

So many years ago glee filled my mind as your beauty overcame me,

Truly beautiful through and through and each look gave me more glee,

A six year old filled with candy n’ sodas took over my twenties brain,

Joy of a young man’s heart shared with all went against your grain,

What’s wrong with you that you say those things as if I’m a shiny toy,

My toes tripped on smooth air or was it the tongue of a twenties boy?

A mouth as big as mine must contain a tongue that’s too big to stay,

Once my tongue fills with thoughts words spew forth with lots to say,

Yes I spewed forth words of your beauty describing most every part,

But know each word I said of you was said with love from my heart,

I love you so and always have it seems I was born already loving you,

I first saw you when you were twelve and knew I’d marry you, it’s true,

But true love struck my heart with Cupid’s arrow when I was eighteen,

Every morning since that day my first thoughts have made me gleam,

You were past eighteen a month and a half when you smiled your I do,

That day the heart of no other man could hold the love I held for you,

I vowed to love you forevermore and for over fifty years I’ve done so,

I vow to love you forevermore and in fifty years a century you’ll know,

You will know a century of my loving you and once again I’ll upset you,

Let me say it here and now I will shout out “see her beautiful glow”,

Each day at least three times an hour I feel such need to say it loud,

“See how beautiful her profile is” or other things of you make me proud,

The little wiggle your butt contains or the giggle in your pretty throat,

Throughout the day I say these words from my heart as I do not gloat,

You’re sexy through and through my love, I love you more every hour,

To see you nude today excites me more than during our first shower,

I remember most every night loving you even those that are the same,

From wake to sleep I think of you, I truly do, even at work or in a game,

I know insane is how I sound but it’s the strongest love on earth,

To be the man loved by you has increased to me what I am worth,

Sex pours from your pores when I am near I smell the essence of you,

The essence of you excites my loins I swear there’s nothing I can do,

Imagine being aroused every time the person you love is near,

I’m so aroused every day that if I was a boat only you could steer,

When you lay near with your hip and sexy thigh exposed it’s so hard,

Your curves are the same today it’s very difficult for me to disregard,

You complain when I don’t notice you but you also say too much,

After showering or brushing teeth I always rub your butt and such,

Then jump in bed and see your thigh and curves that arouse me so,

Our time is short so very short, we will wish every second to re-know,

I am lost, I seek lovemaking in form of old yet I know my form is old,

I love our scheduled sex but wouldn’t sexual spontaneity be extolled?

When nude you shake and tease me but if I take the bait what then?

Spontaneity was born of love n’ haste so desire and lust couldn’t win,

Remember when a kiss would ignite lovemaking though we just had?

To start again from a kiss with you was inevitable when with a lad,

Yes once long ago I was a lad although slowed after serving in Nam,

The draft stole away precious youth and what was left is what I am,

I ask you my angel, my darling wife, when last did a kiss ignite fire?

When last I ask of you, did you tease me and expect a kiss of desire?

A kiss of desire followed by a man’s lust igniting fire within loins aged,

I ask when last did you release loins of he whose loins were caged?

Please release the latch in a spontaneous gesture that urges a flow,

Love within your heart is my love and love within me is yours aglow,

You glow of love and only you glow like an angel’s beautiful glow,

My heart can love no other not because of time but it’s you I know,

If asked what is a union? We describe a union of love no doubt,

When asked about sexual union of love, we are what it is about,

To hold your soft hand in mine is a special joy just meant for me,

Since I love you so as you so love me, our love will live eternally.

The end. I love you my angel.

Birthday Celebration 09/21/2019

To be inspired by your love is a treasure given to only one man,

That you were born unto earth to love me in anyway you can,

Is unseen by all but me for I’ve known you throughout the ages,

An inferno of love burns within and as I know you more it rages,

You were more than a person when you first smiled at me,

No matter your unknown direction in life, we were tied to be,

I found your heart when first I looked into your hazel eyes,

Across the world I search the waves to find you in blue skies,

There’s a universal syncretism between souls deep in love,

A synchronizing of hearts is a blessing from our Lord above,

I remember the joining our hearts delivered without guidance,

To be delivered to you by desire of another wasn’t hap-stance,

This day each year is your day yet I understand truly it’s mine,

Your birth is a celebration of life and love, a gift of the Divine,

I am truly grateful so much so that each day in prayer it is known,

It’s for you sweet angel that each day my love for you is shown.

The end. By Pat for Patti, happy birthday Patti

Relief of Life

As a butterfly softly lets down upon a rose,

A tender touch releases hormones to flow,

Her loving caresses bring so much to mind,

Her beauty radiates to be seen by the blind,

Beautiful verses align to create her song,

He knows this place is where he belongs,

Choirs of angels sing harmoniously tight,

As he studies her frame she is his delight,

Cricket’s chirps fill the night air with sound,

Walking hand in hand to find vacant ground,

Twinkling starlight penetrate absence of light,

Moonlight accompaniment is a beautiful sight,

Boulders within the mountainside almost glow,

Forming a soft outline as if a part of the show,

Color fades into light’s absence to go unseen,

Yet it’s the next most beautiful thing he’s seen,

She’s the only one that puts a skip into his heart,

Of his being he is sure she’s the very best part,

Her beauty has carried him through war’s pain,

When absent memories of life, hers did remain,

She is the light that brightens his every day,

A lifetime of joy came when she saw him play,

Night’s cuddles bring relief and love to his life,

Each love word is written of my gorgeous wife.
