My Birthday Angel

Another year brings my annual celebration of your birth,

On this day God sent an angel to be born on this earth,

If only I could sculpt a marble in the likeness of you,

I would erect it for all to see the beauty in the statue,

Your birthday is very special to me as I love you so,

That you married me is a blessing no others know,

So many years ago in a foreign land so very far away,

Loneliness had engulfed my being one very sad day,

On my knees I prayed that I could return to you,

The miracle came that sent me home in love’s rescue,

Love, care, and faith kept our love strong those years,

Coming home brought marriage removing my fears,

Each day I give thanks to God for waking at your side,

To be seen at your side has always filled me with pride,

The joy of daily life and our children I have watched play,

Has placed me in Heaven on Earth, happy birthday.

Thank you Patti,

I love you,

An Angel Smiled

An angel smiled as she gazed into my eyes lifting my tired soul,

The beauty of this being was so heavenly I nearly lost control,

Her eyes are of an unnamed goddess beautiful beyond all known,

Angelic cheekbones seem to announce her smile as it is shown,

Any verse I write about you should be composed to overwhelm,

Each time I look into your eyes my soul reaches a paradise realm,

You’ve taken my breath too many times to express or to explain,

There’s so many little things you do it’s impossible for me to name,

That you’ve kept your shape for more than five decades for me,

Is a gift most others don’t understand, appreciate, or try to see,

The wiggle of your walk still excites me as if I remained a teen,

As I said the night we met, you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.

The end, for Patti by Pat

I love you baby!

From Heaven to Hell (July 31, 1969)

I’m a stranger in the night searching so alone,

I long for you along with that lone star that shone,

Our first kiss of love awoke the man inside of me,

Put a letter in a bottle that I threw into the sea,

My brain’s so tired from wondering if you truly care,

If you find my bottled letter placed with love in there,

Read it fully through to understand the hardest part,

I learned tears falling from my eyes start in my heart,

So many letters I’ve written to you wondering why,

I should’ve said more about love under our Texas sky,

If only I had said “I love you” while I held you there,

Had I said it too many times before you knew I care,

When did maturity start and my words become real?

That one magical kiss awakened true love I now feel,

I’m dying inside trying to understand what I should do,

A dark foreign sky can’t convey love I need from you,

So many times saying I love you seemed a game I guess,

I’ve beat myself senseless as I review my tangled mess,

You’re perfect as you are, there’s no doubt about it now,

I’ve written more letters explaining my words somehow,

They are piled in a corner ready to be turned into waste,

Now I fear my future orders have created a lover’s haste,

Afraid I’ve upset you with the letters I sent, now I fear all,

When I gain courage to write heartbreak creates a stall,

From Heaven to hell, a journey easily taken by the heart,

Wouldn’t it be sad if an unknown event has torn us apart?

Perhaps your mother has interfered in true love’s pathway,

And today new orders bring me down and send me away,

I watch the bottle dance to and fro while thinking of you,

The full moon on the ocean’s edge is beautiful to view,

As the moon crosses the Texas sky I pray you see it there,

And maybe you’ll think of me with love, no matter where.

I love you Patti

The Art of Stink

Once when bent I needed to fart,

Nude from bathing it created art,

Art with a scent that was distinct,

Yes, ‘‘twas I that soundly stinked,

A fart when nude shouldn’t be,

Without undies things go free,

That poo is meant to be a stain,

For on the wall it shan’t remain,

A stain in undies belongs there,

Especially mixed with pubic hair,

Unseen and hidden from sight,

Too, scent is disguised at night,

Blankets for cover locks it in,

Perhaps unknown it has been,

Sleep will come without it there,

So much better if not in the air.

The end.

The Sexiness of You

At times I’m overcome by a mysterious mood,

I was mystified in thoughts of you I pursued,

To think of you becomes a dream of you if right,

Dreams that take me through making love at night,

I hear your name and attention to you will rise,

How your presence excites me again mystifies,

Seems the hands of time have passed you by,

Bare breasts still full seem to make you act sly,

You must come from above with a nasty little sin,

Enticing me with charm you got where you been,

Secret things I’ve watched you do excite me in full,

How you make me feel is a part of your sexual pull,

There’s a scent in the room that tantalizes my groove

It explores my nostrils enticing my loins to fully move,

Every sense I sense is filled with amorous’ passion,

So filled with passion why am I in deep submission,

Is there room for one more time to explore it all?

Age has crept into my frame yet I don’t fear it’s call,

Beauty engulfs your essence enticing me to explore,

Your tired sexy smile makes me love you even more.

The end. For Patti from Pat. I love you!

She I Love

I love a beautiful little angel, she that loves in return,

Only she is the one of whom my heart does yearn,

From Heaven she must be for perfection is within,

For she is the magic that allowed our Union to begin,

From times boundaries I’ve journeyed for her love,

For only she conveys God’s love from Heaven above.

And I love her.
