“Before I Cross Heaven’s Sea” September 1965

When I hold you tight

And look into your eyes,

I enter unto a world

That’s known as paradise,

Spiritual sailors must

journey Heaven’s sea,

A trip across vast waters

Is where Paradise will be

I look into your eyes

And find I slip away,

I dream of you I do

I do this every day,

Time, time, time

Is a ravaging creature

Taking time away

Time is such a sad teacher,

Before time says goodbye

Place a kiss upon me,

And bid a sad farewell

Before I cross heaven’s sea.

The end,

Angel’s Delight

I love a little angel and only I know,

The angel appears everywhere I go,

I have blessings allowing me to see,

A gorgeous angel that’s heavenly,

Soon I’ll be near her to hold her tight,

Again I will feel an angel’s delight,

Her lips are delightful I must say,

A kiss from her lips end my day,

There’s no better way to say g’night,

Than to be given an angels delight.

Expressed Love

Enveloped in a state of love driven infatuation,

Wrapped in a world of joy, made of love’s elation,

Our story may be old, perhaps the oldest known,

Aged enough to tell a tale of “how time has flown”,

Absence of vacant time spoken of in my love rhymes,

Vacant time is missing love in best and worst of times,

To be absent vacant time can be a blessing of night,

In absence there is no emptiness of heart, even slight,

I’ve felt anguish in the night with fear I may succumb,

I know fear of unfounded love tainted with the numb,

What is it my poor heart beats in anguish to erase?

Increased pulse so rapid it pains me to join the chase,

My heart though aged still struggles with desire of one,

My poor heart seeks but one and so shall seek till done,

For her love and through her beauty my heart shall find,

My place of kneeling that upon wedded knee we bind,

Two hearts to be bound in rapture’s delight evermore,

My heart is wrapped through with love of her even more,

Rapturous delight is a wonderful word used to display,

A heart filled with loving her until my final love her day.

The end, I love you Patti, Forevermore, By Pat

Text Poem: I need more, more, more

I need more more more, and more,

Can’t be bought at grocery store,

Your sweetness shakes my soul through,

What I won’t do to be with you,

Oh I need more more more and more,

Fill my pockets with love from the love store,

Dreams of you and of you loving on me,

Are passion dreams I wish everyone could see,

More more more of you loving on me,

Tender kisses upon my lips and anatomy,

Let’s lay by the old lazy river and make love tonight,

No matter where, loving you is such a sweet delight,

More more more of the midnight romance,

It can be mid day if you would rather take a chance,

Give me a kiss or two to unwind this grind within my loin,

Only you can satisfy what my machine has a goin.

I love you, the end, by Pat for Patti

The Thrown Stone Rhyme

I think of you in there all alone,

Could I find you with thrown stone?

If it took a bounce or two or even three,

Would it bounce correct so you I’d see?

Maybe, just a maybe so small with prayed luck,

The bounce taken would pick me as the one struck,

I’d still be lost or perhaps correctly said stoned,

In this tale of impossible rhyme it’s time I atoned,

For a thrown stone most likely will never strike,

The target thrown to hit if even a trike,

And a child would cry if his trike was struck,

For the bounce taken picked he as the one struck,

But never not once did my bouncing stone thrown,

Find you as the target so I won’t be, all alone,

I’ve loved you forever and evermore it shall be,

To love you forever is in my destiny.

Text Poem: Off to Work I Go! Hi Ho!

I’m leaving, although I find I must part,

Remember how much love is in my heart,

Each ounce or part belongs to you alone,

The best part about departure is my return,

No matter when there’s no time left to burn,

Forever I’ll love you no matter how hard life may be,

As kisses fall from your lips I’m in a spell of ecstasy.

Patti, I love you baby, Pat
